Rules of Adulthood

The rules of adulthood are the second task I set my Happiness Online folk for the first month of the challenge. They are things I’ve learnt in the process of growing up a bit. I turn 30 next year, in 2 short months in fact, which I think officially means I’m supposed to be a grown up. I don’t feel like one yet but I think that’s kinda the point, we’ve learnt more than we know but never really acknowledge this while we are waiting to “feel” like an adult. So here are my “rules of adulthood“…Photobucket

Everyone lets you down, you’ve got to figure out who is worth it.

Never prioritise those who won’t consider you back.

The more you positivity you put out the more you get back.

You are your own worst critic.

There is always room for optimism.

Nothing screws you up more than comparing it to what you think it should be.

Never regret what you did, it’s what you wanted right then.

You can always start again.
