A little while ago the lovely people from Zaggora hotpants got in touch and offered me the chance to try out their hotpants and let you guys know all about them.
If you haven’t heard of Zaggora where have you been?! Zaggora are HUGE. They are stocked in all kinds of stores all over the UK including Selfridges! They have a dedicated army of followers all over the world and add to their number every day. Why? Well because they claim that wearing their clothes will help you burn more calories during your active times.
They have a patent pending on the material the hot pants are made from, its a multi layer material which traps naturally generated heat and helping you burn more calories. Sounds super. I would imagine the extra sweat generated by the pants contributes to the loss of inches as well as those extra calories burned but I’ll take it, I’m going to talk a bit more tomorrow about what pushed me to take that challenge.
I know. I hear you. I didn’t really believe it either, I was really curious when they contacted me so I’ve decided to put them to the test in their 2 week challenge. I wear the pants once a day during a period of 30-60 mins activity and in two weeks review the results. I’m not ashamed, as it will come as no surprise I’m sure, that I have a bad case of cellulite. Yuck. Its horrible and it is annoying but I know there is little I can do about it. People are raving about how they helped with their cellulite so *fingers crossed*. Like I said though more chat about things tomorrow.
So I am currently between a UK size 16 and 18 and I got the XL and it was a little on the larger size for me, it didn’t feel tight just really comfortable, I did some jumping jacks and jogging on the spot which is my general test for new leggings and they stayed relatively put, I felt that maybe a size smaller would have done the job fully. The noise that the hotpants make as you walk is a little unnerving, the material feels a lot like Neoprene, the stuff used for wetsuits, in fact I think they will be great for getting out and about on the river!
I chose to wear my normal running leggings over the top of them just for security. I’ll write a bit more about that workout another time but they were super comfortable.
I’ll be updating throughout the next two weeks!
