The Secret Beach. Well we found it. It’s beautiful. Sea which metres and metres out can be only waist deep, and there were tropical fish everywhere.
We spent the day there, it was so blissfully peaceful and Charlie was overjoyed playing in the sand and the water. The end of the day was a Mojito and an early night! Exhausted.
It was on this day, playing with my son in the sand, swimming in the sea, and being outdoors that I really gave a lot of thought to my life, what I really wanted from it and why I’ve not been able to maintain a fitness regime regularly for any period of time. I really started to think about when I was happiest. More about that later, although I know I’ve touched on it a bit I want to talk about how it all came together more.
The next day the gardeners made a little gift for the small one, they loads of things around the place for a few peso’s tip, they made him a cricket.

We saw a traditional Cuban band that day too, we bought their CD so we could have some authentic Cuban music. We are already big fans of the Buena Vista Social Club so it’s just another thing to add to the itunes.

Tomorrow….My Actual Birthday…What do you look for to bring home from holidays? Do you have a thing? do you like music like us or thimbles? postcards? T Shirts?

That serious IS paradise! MAdness. So pretty!
Go! You won’t regret it.
